Solar Heating System

Forced circulation| Vacuum solar collectors

This Solar Collector CPC DIFFUSION is formed by a series of borosilicate glass tubes in a double cavity, soldered at the extremes to render the internal cavity a vacuum. The internal cavity is rendered selective for absorption of solar energy by utilising recycled products which are metallised with ''CERMET''. Reflective, specular aluminium sheeting is fixed underneath the tubing (EN 573/3 - 485/2 - EN 485/4 plus test for anodic oxidation DIN 50943). It has low iridescence, and a total absorption factor > 90%, thank to the Compound Parabolic Concentrator system, with emissive coefficient < 8%.

Thanks to these characteristics, the field of application proves to be heterogeneous (production of sanitary water, integration of heating systems, heating of pools and more).

It is able to satisfy every sanitary water demand, offering complete forced circulation systems, already perfectly sized and easy to install.

The basis components are: solar collector CPC DIFFUSION, installation kit for tiles or flat roofs, special antifreezing fluid, solar control, expansion vessel, solar station, double coil cylinder, thermostatic valve and all the required accessories.

Product Details
Solar Panels
  • Evacuated tube solar collectors consist of an array of glass tubes connected to a manifold. In each collector tube there is a U shaped copper pipe which contains a refrigerant (Glycol) which absorbs the heat and transfers it to the bottom coil in a dual-coil domestic hot water cylinder The vacuum in the solar collectors prevent heat from escaping from the panel which enables them to maintain a high efficiency even when the outside temperatures are low
  • High level of efficiency with a total absorption factor of >90% (emissive coefficient less than 8%) Based on Irish meteorological data up to 68% of the hot water needs of a house can be met by this system
  • CPC-focusing mirror technology enables optimal performance regardless of the angle at which the sun’s rays strike the panel
  • The collectors can be fitted to any type of roof and all pipe work and brackets are concealed beneath the panel
  • Suitable for solar thermal (domestic hot water), space heating as well as heating of swimming pools and other uses. If a tube breaks it can be easily replaced without draining down the system
  • Smaller Solar collector area required than for Flat Plate systems
  • 10 Year Manufacturer warranty and 5 Year Installation warranty
  • Manufactured to EN12975-2 standard and are approved by the SEI for grant support as part of the Greener Homes Scheme
